Karen Chammas is the athletics coordinator at LAU Byblos. In 2014, she graduated from LAU Byblos with a BA in International Business. She then pursued her MBA, majoring in Sports Management, in the European University of Barcelona in 2016. Karen is a professional Judo player, Lebanese national champion for 20 consecutive years (2000-2019) and won Arab, West Asia, Asia and other international tournaments. The peak of her career was representing Lebanon in the 2012 London Olympic Games. In addition, she has been part of Antranik 1st Division Basketball Team since 2014 and has played for the Lebanese Basketball National Team in the FIBA Asian Championship in 2017. She is also the Assistant Coach of the LAU Women Varsity Basketball Team.
