Joe Moujaes

Joe Moujaes has been the Director of Athletics at LAU’s Byblos Campus since 2003 and its current Men Basketball Coach. He is also the head coach of Div 1 Men Basketball team (Homenetmen), along with Lebanese U18 Men Basketball National Team. He received his B.E. in Civil Engineering from the Lebanese American University in 2002 and earned his M.S. in Sports Management from the University of Balamand with affiliation from Poitier University – France in 2011. He received the FECC – Fiba Europe coaching certification (3 years program in 2015). His playing career in basketball with Sagesse Club for over 6 years ended with a career ending injury.  His coaching career started with Byblos Club in 2009 – 2013, Moutahed Club 2014, Lebanese National Team coach 2016, Lebanese National Team U16 and U18 coach 2011-2016, and Homenentmen Club 2014 till present. He has participated in a series of conferences and seminars on emotional intelligence with AMA , and other university sports related. Joe has achieved so many titles in Basketball, most recent the Lebanese Men Basketball Championship, Lebanese Cup winner, Arab Cup Cup Champions with Homenetmen Club 2018, regular season champion 2017,2018. Winner with Lebanese Basketball National Team seniors West Asian Championship in 2016. Winner of 6 times University Sports championships 2010-2015, and 2017 with LAU, and Div II Lebanese Men Basketball Champion in 2010 with Byblos Club.
